I dont even know where to start. I was excited on the adventure to muskoka. Gullwing lake park was nothing short of a nightmare. From the moment we signed in. The manager knowing rain was coming in wouldnt give us a better campsite as we are all knew our site was a mudhole, even though the lot beside us was empty. Family came by to say hello on their way to their jeep trail and was addressed with rudeness and told they werent even allowed to step out of their vehicle. Things continued to decline as the weekend moved on. Our families jeep broke down and there was no compassion shown for them to stay the night with us or even rent that empty spot beside us. She yelled threatened to call the cops to get them them to leave. I never knew there could be anyone so heartless and rude...did i mention this entire time we had torrential rain? I hear the manager is on her way out on august 14, which I am happy for the other campers because they have all been awesome! Karma will follow this woman i have no doubt..!

Great place to stay if you were to watch a band at the Kee to Bala, it's a 10 minute cab ride and the local muskoka cab service will get you there.

Under the New Management at Gullwing Lake Park, things are getting done. In the heart of the Muskokas on a beautiful lake, Gullwing offers everything. All of the older , negative comments are now null and void strictly because of the staff running the Park. Danny, Steph and Kerri have returned this place to its glory and the social atmosphere is now amazing. We love it here and invite you to join us!!

She proceeded to walk me to my site saying "the picnic table needs to be moved up the other end where the fire pit is. The permanent resident opposite my pitch liked privacy and total silence, no noise was allowed. At the end of the conversation she left me with over 2 pages of rules that would take me all weekend to read

Where do I start .......... at the beginning...... we are new to camping so this season we decided to try several sites to see which we liked...... A week before going to Gullwing Lake, I had seen some bad reviews mixed with some good ones. I decided to have an open mind as I have experienced good times where others had not. I WISH I HAD LISTENED TO THE REVIEWS....... PLEASE DON'T MAKE MY MISTAKE AND THINK "IT SURELY CAN'T BE THAT BAD", AS GULLWING LAKE IS ABSOLUTELY AWFUL.

The prime site was directly next too the main road, no fences just a single row of trees. The pitch was a haven for mosquitoes and back flies and was basically a gravel pit with no space to lay out a rug or chairs even if we fancied being eaten alive.
